Abstract

Gambaran yang utuh tentang kehidupan hukum (the truth about the law) baru dapat diperoleh dengan manggunakan cara pandang yang holistik. Hukum dalam perspektif normatif dogmatis hanya akan menampakkan "kerangka" dari hukum itu sendiri. Perspektif empiris sosiologis akan membantu melihat hukum secara utuh, sehingga hukum tidak hanya terlihat sebagai “kerangka” saja, melainkan sudah terlihat utuh dengan “daging dan ototnya”.
