Abstract

Bagi sebuah perusahaan, desain industri memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Hal ini dikarenakan desain industri telah mampu memberikan manfaat ekonomi yang cukup baik, oleh karena itu diperlukan perlindungan hukum yang mampu memberikan kepastian hukum. Di sisi lain juga mendorong kreatifitas para pedesain untuk melahirkan karyanya. Untuk memberikan jaminan perlindungan hukum yang pasti maka lahirlah Undang-Undang Nomor 31 Tahun 2000 tentang Desain Industri, yang di dalamnya mengatur persyaratan agar desain industri dapat dilindungi.
