Berbagai problematika penyeragaman dan penyelarasan hukum maritim perdata akan mewujudkan penegasan efesiensi dan kepastian hukum dalam melakaukan aktivitas kemaritiman internasional, penyeragaman hukum juga mendorong terselenggaranya keadilan dan ketertiban sebagai prinsip utama dalam hukum perdata internasional, implikasi negarayang timbul dari penyeragaman ini bagi negara peserta perjanjian internasional. Konstruksi berfikir dan konsep hukum yang sudah terbangun menurut hukum peserta tersebut. Menerima konstruksi hukum yang berbeda akan mengganggu konstruksi berpikir hukum negara tersebut mengenai masalah tertentu.
